who said i need exercise?

Oh my God! Whoever said exercise is good for you must be nuts! I am sore to the last bone and muscle in my body. Bed is the only place inviting for me right now, that and a nice cup of coffee. But alas! I have to work, well... be at work, as you can see I'm posting on my blog so I cannot be working, but I am, a well...

I've taken up tae-bo and if these body aches don't leave me soon I'd probably drop it too. But hey, I guess I do need to exercise, if only to give me something to do, as opposed to becoming a bed potato.

Must be the price of getting old. I've just realized that most of my cousins who used to be teeny boppers back then are actually adults, some with families, some in relationships while others are still enjoying being single. Makes me feel ancient! But hey, I got two wonderful kids so I'm not complaining.

living life a little

With extra time on my hands, I started doing some of the stuff that I've neglected in the last couple of months. Newly washed clothes actually lined up the closet(they used to be folded up in laundry bags), old mail sorted out and put away, carpet vacuumed AND perfumed with lavander(only scent I'm not allergic to), not to mention me getting 7-8 hours of sleep. Now that is what I call accomplishment! Still have a lot to do but at least things are starting to shape up and the apartment looks like an apartment and not a stopover for travelers. I've also taken up running seeing my honey paid for my running shoes and I've run out of excuses not to do any form of exercise. My body feels like it's been run over by a truck and my legs hurt like hell, but in all, everything's great!

It feels good to have a life outside of work!

blast from the past

Saw his name on the Internet together with a phone number. Told my bestfriend about it and she asked me if I was sure that it's him. No clue I said, but how many people can actually have that name and be in the same profession? No way of finding out except to call. So I did. And yes, it is him. Feels weird to talk to someone you haven't heard from in almost 15 years. He claims to be a good boy now... hmmm. Won't know nothing about that. He does sound good, though. Gee, now I feel old remembering.

updates, updates

Been busy lately...(huh?) Nah, could never really be busy, but lazy, yes. Started working in my other new job at the University of West Los Angeles Law Library. It's not a very big law school and not a very big library, but I like it. It is after all my area of expertise. So now I work for two libraries. Plus, now that I have some free time, I'm planning to enroll in some online course. It's just another way to keep myself busy. Kinda hard to really slow down because it feels like I'm getting old whenever I try to do that. Training's over so I get to be by myself now.
